Why does your head suddenly 'throb' when you drink ice water?
This is medically known as 'ice cream headache (brain freeze)'! When cold water touches the roof of your mouth, blood vessels first constrict rapidly and then expand explosively to maintain brain temperature. This intense change stimulates the trigeminal nerve, and the brain, momentarily confused, misinterprets the pain as originating in the temples! 💡 Pain relief tip: If you accidentally get brain freeze, immediately 'press your tongue against the roof of your mouth' to quickly warm it up with your tongue's temperature. The headache will disappear in an instant!

Been
I drank two iced bubble teas in a row during winter, opened the window, let the breeze hit the back of my head, wore a short-sleeved shirt, and it was about 15 degrees Celsius. After about 20 minutes, I almost had a stroke and a cerebral hemorrhage 0.0
