Seeking Dreams

'Seeking Dreams' is acclaimed as the most structurally rigorous and literarily valuable work in the Wesley series, and is Ni Ku's personal favorite representative masterpiece. The story begins with two strangers who have never met, yet repeatedly have the same terrifying 'nightmare' for over a decade. As Wesley investigates deeply, he discovers this is not a common psychological phenomenon, but a profound obsession spanning past and present lives. The novel cleverly utilizes the settings of 'past life memories' and 'karma and reincarnation' to extend a murder feud that occurred in the early Republic of China era into modern times across space and time, ultimately leading to a sci-fi explanation involving souls, cosmic waves, and time dimensions. The entire book is filled with strong推理 (deduction) and suspense, and the ending is full of poignant fatalism and tragic color, making it a philosophical masterpiece that strikes the soul.
