The Key Point

Before a master performer went on stage, his disciple told him his shoelaces were untied. The master nodded in thanks, bent down, and carefully tied them. After the disciple turned away, he bent down again and untied them. An onlooker who saw this asked, puzzled: "Master, why did you untie your shoelaces again?" The master replied: "I am playing a weary traveler. The fact that his shoelaces came undone after a long journey is a detail that can express his exhaustion and fatigue." "Then why didn't you just tell your disciple?" "He carefully noticed my untied shoelaces and enthusiastically told me. I must protect and encourage his enthusiasm. As for why I untied them, there will be many more opportunities to teach him acting in the future, so I can tell him next time." A person can only do one thing at a time. Understanding how to grasp the key point is what makes a true talent.
