One day, the egg in the refrigerator said to the milk, "Stay away from me, you're freezing me to death." The milk replied, "We're both in the fridge, what does that have to do with me?" The egg said, "Because you're positioned where the air vent is. The cold air hits you first, then me. You're an accomplice." The milk was speechless and quietly moved a step away. Five minutes later, the egg said again, "Now you're too far away, I'm a bit lonely." The milk asked, "What do you want me to do?" The egg said, "I just wanted to say that distance creates beauty, but too much distance makes it cold." The milk sighed, "Are you an egg or a philosopher?" The egg replied, "I'm an egg that's been refrigerated for too long, and I've started contemplating life." The milk asked, "So what have you figured out?" The egg said, "Yeah, we're both going to get eaten someday, so why bother arguing about who goes first." The milk was silent for a moment, then said, "...Just stay away from me. You kinda scare me."
