Masaki Suda Movie Recommendation: Ito (糸)
Considered the film that solidified the relationship between Masaki Suda and Nana Komatsu! The script concept is based on Miyuki Nakajima's classic Japanese song "Ito" (Thread). In the movie, the two play lovers who are deeply in love but repeatedly separate and reunite. Ren Takahashi (played by Masaki Suda), born in Hokkaido, and Aoi Sonoda (played by Nana Komatsu) meet at age 13 and fall in love, but Aoi is taken away from Hokkaido by her mother. Eight years later, Ren comes to Tokyo for a friend's wedding and unexpectedly meets Aoi again, but they have already started on different paths in life. Ten years after that, the two meet once more due to the thread of fate. What will their destiny hold this time?
