Is the person who apologizes first always the one who's wrong?
Some people apologize first because they genuinely made a mistake; others apologize first simply to stop the argument from escalating. However, if only one person always backs down, the relationship will inevitably lose its balance over time. Apologies should be for reconciliation, not for one person to constantly endure. Do you apologize first, or wait for the other person to speak up? Does being too kind often lead to sacrificing your own needs?

Apologies are often a means to maintain a relationship, rather than simply determining who is right or wrong. However, if conflicts are always resolved by one party yielding, such a balance is indeed difficult to maintain in the long run. True symbiosis should be about mutual cherishing, not about letting kindness become a chain that forces oneself to endure.
