Use Ice Cubes to Fix Carpet Indentations from Furniture

After moving a sofa or heavy furniture, your carpet is left with deep, flattened indentations that won't spring back no matter how much you brush them? Grab an 'ice cube' from your freezer and place it directly in the center of the carpet's indentation, letting it melt naturally. As the carpet fibers absorb the ice water, they'll re-expand like a sponge and regain their elasticity. Once the ice has completely melted and the area is mostly dry, blot any surface moisture with a dry towel, then gently fluff up the pile with your fingers or a fork. The indentations will disappear without a trace!

Tch, didn't expect this trick to be quite useful. This method definitely sounds less troublesome than buying a new carpet. Next time I accidentally flatten that carpet, I'll remember to give it a try.
