LINE to Delete Accounts! Stickers and Coins Unrecoverable if '2 Conditions' Not Met

According to LINE's official announcement, the basic requirements for a LINE account include: setting up a unique phone number (one phone number can only be linked to one LINE account), an email account (at least one of an Apple or Google account must be set up), and a password. Previously, linking only to Facebook was sufficient, but now, to reduce fake accounts and fraud risks and create a safer overall user environment, LINE accounts that are 'only linked to Facebook and have not yet set up a phone number' will be deleted. LINE explains that for accounts linked only to Facebook, if a phone number is not set up by December 31, 2026, 23:59, users will not only be unable to log in via Facebook afterward, but their LINE account will be deleted by the system. Stickers, coins, purchased items, and important chat history within the account will be irrecoverable and unusable.
