I don't own a cat, but I'm sharing a story about one my mom apparently had when she was a child! This is that cat, though the photo's a bit blurry. His name is Watson (nickname Wato). When I said, "Do you dislike photos? You look grumpy," my mom told me to say, "He looks dignified." Wato is a male cat that my mom's older brother (my uncle) found and brought back from his study abroad in Russia. He brought him home without telling anyone in the family, so everyone was surprised. My mom's mother (my grandmother) apparently disliked cats, and stubbornly refused to be in the same room as Wato, saying, "I can't sleep where there's a cat." But... Wato took a liking to Grandma and kept trying to win her over by jumping onto her lap during meals and poking his head over the table. As a result... she started giving him tuna when he jumped on her lap and petting him a lot. One day, she suddenly grabbed Wato as he was walking around the room and started rubbing him. Wato was apparently startled by this quite often with a "Giiyaaaah!" (After being released, he'd just continue his walk as if nothing happened). Even though she disliked him so much... she eventually fell completely under Wato's spell. Cats are amazing, aren't they? They have the power to change people. (I have more stories about Wato, so I'll share them again later-)

At one point, I had four cats living together. A total of six have crossed the rainbow bridge… goodbyes are always tough. I'm looking forward to seeing all your cute photos. Found this cat near Busan Tower yesterday. Glad I got to see a cat on my last day! Flew back home last night.

Thank you to everyone who commented! As a beginner who recently discovered this app, I wasn't sure what to do, so I ended up making a post. Let's spread the word: 'Cats = Peace is wonderful.' To the world. And I'm so happy lately that I can see all your adorable cats every time I visit, and that such a wonderful community exists. I have 5 cats myself, and I get so excited thinking about how fun it would be to chat about our cats with all of you here. I'd be overjoyed if I could continue to see all the cute, lovely, baby, pretty kitties.

Maybe because of the weather today, I'm actually home (for now). They play too wildly to get a good shot…! It's really difficult to take pictures while playing with them one-handed~ 😅

It's 20°C, and it looks like it rained quite a bit last night with cloudy skies to start the day. Glad to hear the Yamagata Japan's Best Imoni Festival, which started cooking at 4 AM, has successfully begun. As for me, the Hunter, I just stuffed my face with food as usual and immediately dove into bed for a nap. Let's have a good day today too!
