The Lunchbox Trial Begins Tomorrow!!
Dearest everyone, I hope you are all well todayð¹ I'm posting this right before the day changes!! My husband has safely returned from his assignment, and he's asked me to make him lunchboxes starting tomorrow. It's the return of the dreaded lunchbox trial!! I used to do this every morning a few years ago, but since I'm not a morning person, getting up early to make lunchboxes is incredibly difficultâŠâŠðŠ To think I have to do it againâŠâŠ it's a nightmareãïœð±ð±ð± When I really can't wake up in the morning, I find it easier to just stay up all nightâŠâŠã For the lunchbox, it's the side dishesâŠâŠ filling up those empty spaces with side dishes that's the hard partâŠâŠ!! I wish the silver salmon I ordered through the hometown tax system would arrive soon, otherwise, there will be gaps in the side dishes!!! Husband: "Looks like there are some gaps, doesn't it?" Me: "I'm saving space for the future silver salmon." âŠâŠWell, I suppose I'll just have to stuff it with sausages thenâŠâŠã

How are you feeling today! In times like these, rely on frozen foods! Many Japanese dishes are well-suited for freezing, you know? Dishes like simmered hijiki seaweed, blanched spinach... and even fried chicken don't change much in taste after thawing. If your husband's workplace has a microwave, you could make frozen bento boxes with the intention of heating them up before eating? On holidays, while watching TV with your husband, mix them together... then pack them into small cups together... and freeze them. They'll freeze perfectly in the freezer. In the morning, all you have to do is pack them like a puzzle. Even rice can just be frozen and become another piece of the puzzle. ...That's all! This is the daily wisdom from me, a lazy lady without a butler! Apologies for the long message...

Making bento boxes is tough, isn't it? ð I've never made one for anyone else, so I just went with 'Use what you have, stuff it in until it fits!' It's probably because I usually cook large portions anyway. ð Please tell your husband that the empty spaces are filled with Izuminogemu's love. ð Good job today~ (*ÂŽâïœ)
