Today during club kendo practice, when I tried to practice the upper stance, I used different muscles than the middle stance and got really bad cramps in my legs. I have a 3rd dan exam on Sunday, and if I pass, I'm thinking of switching to the upper stance. I think the cramps will go away once I get used to it, but it's really tough right now. Even though I've retired from the club, I really thought the 3rd-year seniors' upper stances were amazing. Good work today, everyone!
