編み物

Lately, it's easy to get tools at places like 100-yen shops, so I've been crocheting a bit. I mostly make things like handkerchiefs or small accessories with cotton yarn.

I don't do it much these days, but I like it. When I do it, I use knitting needles. I can crochet too, but I basically do everything my own way. Since it's mentally relaxing to just knit without thinking, I used to make things like scarves and scrubbies, focusing on simple patterns without changing yarn or increasing/decreasing stitches. When I was younger, I did make sweaters and such, but buying them is more cost-effective, so I stopped. Being able to finish something in about 1-2 hours gives me a good sense of accomplishment and feels great.
