Dream Diary ～夢日記～

Introducing a dream I just had. I was watching, as if through a TV screen, a boy around 15 years old working the register at a convenience store. A man, pretending to be kind, approached and said the boy had forgotten to buy something somewhere. The man then tried to snatch the boy's bag, saying, "I'll go buy it for you instead." However, the boy knew the man was a robber and had hidden a grenade in his bag. The grenade was designed to explode if you took your finger off the switch, and the robber tried to drive away in a truck with the grenade in one hand, unable to release the switch. Just then, a slim and cool-looking robot waiting on the convenience store roof appeared and tried to apprehend the robber. But the robber also had a robot, which skillfully handled the grenade and escaped with the robber. The boy said, "We couldn't catch him, huh?" while locking up the convenience store with his ally robot and heading home... That's when I woke up.

"You're sleeping with your glasses on?" a voice came from behind me... "I think I dozed off," I said, turning around while holding my phone, which was in sleep mode. (Is the penalty okay?!) I looked at my phone again, but the phone I thought I was holding was gone... Turning back again, I saw the phone charging. Huh? Didn't I have my phone? Before sleeping, I forgot to take off my glasses after charging them, so I apparently dreamed that 〔I had just been playing a game but fell asleep〕. Even the feeling of holding the phone and that moment of worrying about the penalty were just a dream.

I feel like I used to have premonition dreams quite often in the past. But my memory wasn't that great, so I only remember a few. So, I'll share a premonition dream I still remember here. I dreamed of seeing 'a child crouching near a body of water in a forest'. I didn't know what it was right after I woke up. A few days later, there was news about a 'missing child'. I had completely forgotten about the dream then too. But that famous super volunteer found the child. When I heard the super volunteer say something like '(the child) was near the water', it suddenly came back to me. That's right, I had dreamed about the child going missing, and I knew they would be found soon. Well, apparently premonition dreams aren't something only special people have, but rather a result of the brain's 'predictive ability'. I don't think of it as a special power. I think my brain just happened to predict it by chance. Maybe it's because I worked with children.

I just woke up from a dream where I saw a small, inorganic object, like a robot, sitting on the rim of a cup and drinking a brownish liquid, like cocoa, with a straw lol I wonder what that was... Was I perhaps seeing a future where robots move like that someday? lol

This is a dream I had last night. I was standing in some unfamiliar place, just blankly standing there, when suddenly someone I knew started talking to me. Well, we weren't close friends, but we'd occasionally chat through mutual friends. In fact, I had a slight aversion to this person. As we were talking, they suddenly handed me something like a strand of hair. It was straight, black, and about 5-6cm long. When I asked, "What is this?" they replied, "It's XX hair!" but I couldn't quite make out what kind of hair it was. ...Though I might just not remember. Then, they seemed to be happily trying to show me something like a notebook. However, while I was listening, for some reason I put the hair I was given into my mouth. Even in the dream, I felt disgusted and wanted to spit it out, but for some reason, I kept it in my mouth. But then, a close friend of mine suddenly appeared, tapped me on the shoulder, and the moment they did, I stuck my finger in my mouth and took out that hair-like object. And that's the end. I feel like there might have been more to it, but the impression of this scene was just too strong. Thank you for reading this far.

A dream I had the other day during a nap. My brother got into a bike accident with the son of a yakuza family. Even though both parties involved had minor injuries and had already settled, the higher-ups got furious. They summoned all our relatives, figured out everyone's relationship to each other, and I had a dream where they made us have a "discussion" saying, "So, the eldest son's eldest son did it…" It was scary.

Someone I met in a game updated their profile to say 'Went to Disney with my boyfriend!!' Since I've loved Disney since I was a kid but live too far from Chiba to have ever gone, I got so frustrated that I started planning a "bullet trip" like, 'I'll pretend to go to school, then fly to Narita...' What am I even doing?

A long time ago, I still remember a dream and wonder, 'What was that about?' This was when I was around 5th or 6th grade in elementary school. I had recurring dreams where I met boys dressed in pristine white formal attire (the kind with a stand-up collar). Sometimes it was near a classmate's house in my neighborhood, other times somewhere at school. I was already writing novels back then, so it might have just been my imagination mixed in, but in my dreams, they each seemed to be guardians of nature. Thus, their white outfits had symbolic colored lines representing their guardianship: a blue line for the water guardian, a green line for the wood guardian. One day, the boy who was the water guardian handed me something like a floppy disk. (Though, I didn't know it was a floppy disk at the time.) Confused, I accepted the floppy disk, and was then sucked into the entrance of the gymnasium at the school I was attending, and then I woke up. It was the kind of dream you have right before waking up from a dream. I didn't understand why I had such a dream back then, but looking back now, it was a time of many changes, so perhaps it was a dream signifying a 'turning point'.

Since everyone seems to be having nightmares, I'll brag about my happy dream () I was napping earlier, and while I was dozing off watching a clip of my fave (a certain Jaw V), I dreamt that they got mad at me. I don't remember exactly what they were mad about, but I do remember being scolded and feeling like I was about to cry. They could have gone a little easier on me, you know.

I had a dream the day before yesterday. In the dream, I was sleeping, and it was a dream where I couldn't wake up from the dream. Mentally, I was panicking, thinking 'It's morning!' and 'I'm going to be late!', but I couldn't seem to wake up because I felt like I was dreaming. Eventually, when I somehow managed to wake up, I realized I had woken up from the dream within the dream, and saw my dark bedroom. It was still the middle of the night. I wondered why I was so anxious in the dream, thinking 'I have to wake up'... Well, it was probably work stress lol After that, I slept soundly, but later my family told me, 'Were you laughing?', so it seems I was having a happy dream. Though I felt like I was groaning lol
