I kinda want to see The Human Centipede but I heard it's super gory so I really don't feel like watching it. I can handle gore like blood and stuff, but the gore in The Human Centipede seems like a different kind. If I were to watch it, I'd probably go for the manga version. I don't think I can stomach watching the actual movie.

Today's job was replacing three wall-mounted monitors (I think they said 53 inches) that had become unusable and were old and needed replacement. We started the work after the general contractor and the client removed the LAN and optical cables connected to the monitors. Removal was completed by noon, and installation began right after lunch, finishing in two hours. After the general contractor restored the cable connections, we checked if the screens would display. The screens worked fine, and the job was complete. Just as we were about to clean up, an unexpected problem arose. What to do with the removed monitors? I thought the client would handle the disposal, but they asked us to dispose of them. Initially, the general contractor said they'd take them, but their vehicle was a van-type mini-truck. There's no way three monitors, each about 1200mm wide and 700mm tall (plus the packaging for the new monitors), would fit. So, we ended up loading them into my company's van (a Hiace) today and decided to take them to the general contractor's office first thing tomorrow morning. All of today's 'trash' is packed tightly in the back. It's quite heavy, so my boss will help with the cleanup, right…? I'm sweating bullets internally.

It's that time of the month, so I'm having period pain. It's so bad that I'm worried I won't be able to take my meds when they stop working, so I took one pill instead of the usual two. It's working, but not very well. Ugh, I'm so tired. Today is a 'just being alive is an accomplishment' kind of day. I did chores, but honestly, just being alive is a bigger achievement.

The land at my new place, right next to it, there was a gentle slope and a proper walkway-like path. There was a handrail in the middle, and it was a gentle slope. And at the top of the slope, there was a solitary statue, seemingly carved by an old man and woman. Probably, it was placed there like, 'This is a path for the elderly!', not in a scary way. Until just now, I had mistaken it for stone steps at a shrine, with a handrail in the middle, and the statue being a Jizo statue! What was I looking at, where was I!? Was I tripping!? That was a close call. 'I won't use it on rainy days!' (The stairs with narrow steps, slippery when wet. I feel like I'll fall.) I said that. But it seems others felt I was saying I wouldn't use the slope on rainy days. That path that looked like a shrine approach, the stone stairs? It was stairs with narrow steps?? Weren't they? Jizo statues!? I'm in total confusion.

No matter how much my art gets messed up, the original drawings look better to me than images regenerated by AI. It's strange. My illustrations probably have a strong personal style, which is why I hesitate to post them. Maybe it's because they'd lose their individuality if fed into AI? Saying this, I do like AI art. I'm not a huge fan of ChatGPT's illustrations, but when I first used it, the art was so sparkly it blew my mind.
