Aiming for the "Showcase Star" Gold Medal!

To get the Showcase Star's gold medal reward (pose), I decided to try a strategy of gradually revealing the Pokémon I'd put in the showcase. The PokéStops I participate in are near my house, and there are usually around 5 participants each week. I first entered with a low-point Pokémon and kept an eye on the other participants' Pokémon. Right before the 8 PM deadline, I swapped it out for a Pokémon with enough points to be in first place. I thought, 'This way, I'll definitely win!'... but it seems other participants had the same idea, and they swapped their Pokémon out at the very last second, leaving me in second place. I'll get my revenge next week!!
