Thinking about changing devices

I'm thinking about changing my device. Right now, I have three options: 1. Install it on my current smartphone. 2. Stick with my current tablet. 3. Reinstall it on an iPad. Which of these do you think would be best? Does changing devices really change the feel of the game? By the way, with my current tablet setup, I can only play solo, which makes events quite tough. It's so laggy that I feel like it crashes halfway through about once every 10 tries. I already cleared the cache once... is trying it again an option? That's where I'm at currently.
