Unless it's for a hidden quest, I'd recommend not using SR characters as material. It'll be easier to level them up later...

If you're going to do it, Saltyna is better. Ambrate can be a wall, so... Well, using SR limiteds as material isn't recommended, but it has the advantage of speeding up progress by strengthening the main, so it's a valid option. Who knows when you'll be able to raise unused SRs to LR...
