Can't finish, can't continue, ^^;;;

(Image is for illustrative purposes only and unrelated to the main story, www) Do you ever feel like when you really love something, whether it's a story, anime, or game, you can't bring yourself to finish it, or you get stuck and can't continue, even if there are sequels (sometimes a whole bunch of them, www)? I think it's because I love it so much that I don't want it to change or end from that point on, but when I stop to think about it, I'm surprised by how many things like that I have, ^^;;; I try to think more positively, but
 nope, it's surprisingly difficult, ^^;;;

I totally get this... When you know a beloved series you love is going to end, you need courage and determination to start watching it... otherwise, it's hard to get through it. Even if the end is still far away, the thought that it's getting closer as I watch makes me want it to never end, and I end up distancing myself.

I heard there are games that intentionally don't have a 'correct' ending. Do online games fall into that category too? 😊 I totally get wanting an anime to keep going. I started watching one casually, and I remember feeling really bummed when it ended 🥲

In games, I tend to turn back before the final boss to collect items and level up. Especially after seeing a series of endings, I might stop right before the true ending, ^^;;; For anime, I get too attached to the first season and can't watch subsequent ones. (It feels off when the original protagonist goes in a different direction or completely new characters appear
)
