I went to a restaurant near my place to eat! The chef's "whim" salad was super delicious. I always laugh when I see this name. I feel like it's a uniquely Japanese naming convention. I wonder if whims are okay for salads, but not for soup or dessert...? lol Someone I knew once criticized it, saying "They just throw in whatever's leftover," which made me sad. At least everything I ate was delicious!! However, unexpected ingredients might show up, so I think you need a flexible mindset and heart to enjoy it lol

Eating out occasionally is really great, isn't it lol. I think vegetables have quite a difference in taste depending on the individual item. Even when I buy good, fresh ones from the market, the nearby shop owner said they serve different things based on their whim!
