The Life of Guide Dog Quill

This is a non-fiction photo collection about Quill, a Labrador Retriever guide dog. I felt like introducing it since books about animals seem to be trending? Quill was also made into a drama and movie, depicting the reality of the guide dog profession and the bond between dogs and humans. Quill was lovingly raised by a puppy walker (a volunteer who raises a puppy destined to become a guide dog), trained diligently with a trainer to become an excellent guide dog, and eventually met his partner, a visually impaired man. In his later years, he passed away at the puppy walker's home. My grandmother was a puppy walker, so I learned about guide dogs when I was a child. Unfortunately, those three puppies didn't return like Quill did, but I'm proud to think they were such wonderful dogs.
