Dinner was somen noodles! Our usual toppings are tuna mayo, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, shredded egg (or hard-boiled egg), and seasoned ground meat. For garnishes, we usually have shiso, myoga, green onions, and kaiware sprouts. Today, I had cucumber, tomato, shredded egg, and salad chicken! That was delicious too☺ What toppings do you guys usually have with your somen..?

Are somen noodles that packed with toppings, boo! I wouldn't eat it if it doesn't have gems on it, but it looks delicious, bububub! Elulu is a big eater, boo!

Choosing toppings for somen noodles can be tricky, right? 🤔 My husband loves somen, so I usually cook 6 bundles for him, but without toppings, he gets hungry again pretty quickly... w I've seen recipes on TikTok and Instagram that involve adding pork or mixing it with tuna 🙌 The tuna mayo mix was a hit, so I'm thinking of trying to add vegetables and sausages, kind of like a pasta salad ☺︎
