The Engineer and the Detective

"There is always an answer to any difficult problem." This is a phrase often used by characters like Kohei Tsukuda from the novel (and drama) "Shitamachi Rocket" and Professor Layton from the game series. They both use it to encourage their allies or players at crucial moments. It gives us the courage to believe that no matter how tough the problem or trouble we face, it's important to keep pushing forward without giving up. An engineer who is a factory president, and a detective who is an archaeology professor. At first glance, they seem like completely different professions, but their pride and positive outlook shine through.
