About the Species of Collaboration Characters

Basically, collaboration characters are divided into eight species (Isamashi, Fushigi, Gōketsu, Purichi, Pokapoka, Usurakage, Bukimi, Nyororon), similar to regular Yo-kai like Jibanyan, Whisper, and USApyon. However, as of 2026, there is one sole exception: 'Masaru Gojo,' who appeared in the 'Inazuma Eleven' collaboration event. His species is 'Hagure Tribe.' The Hagure Tribe originally consists only of Android Yamada, his derivatives, and victims of Yamada's Belly Button Beam, making it rare for a collaboration character to belong to this tribe. Currently (as of 2026): ・'Kaima Tribe,' born from the negative emotions of humans and Yo-kai. ・'King (Enma) Tribe,' belonging only to the ruler who commands all Yo-kai. There are no collaboration characters belonging to these two species. Perhaps it's because both are special species deeply rooted in the world of the 'Yo-kai Watch series.'
