Is it a bit heavy after the update...?

I used to play Nintendo Music in the background, but after the update added features like a diary, my phone started getting hot during measurements... I thought maybe it was the music (Nintendo Music is actually a bit buggy) and tried using it by itself, but it didn't improve much. Last month, I missed the time measurement twice because the processing lagged without me realizing it. How is everyone else's experience?
