On-site jargon doesn't translate
At our facility, we call a pulse oximeter a "SpO2 meter" on-site, but its official name is pulse oximeter, so "SpO2 meter" won't be understood... By the way, SpO2 is sometimes abbreviated as "search". I think "search" is used in medical settings too... but we're more familiar with SpO2... ( ॑꒳ ॑ )

Terms that outsiders wouldn't understand. I totally get it😆 'Heat generation' instead of 'fever', 'impact' for 'power drill', 'heavy wheel' for 'large dump truck'. I helped out in various places, but at first, I was always like '???'. 😊 My 'ojousama' (lady-like) way of speaking might not be understood outside either. Everyone, be careful~
