Formation? Isn't it a battle with just one character?

I did it with a hidden quest a while back, and it's easiest to just collect a ton of diamonds to unlock the American football character. That character is super strong, so I think I cleared up to stage 100 in one go without even needing coin upgrades.

Is there something I'm still missing? I'm not seeing Lancelot, Kitty Wizard, or the Football characters 😭😭😭

Is the formation AI is talking about for tower攻略 (strategy/clearing)? You've really grown Lucky Guy a lot! (゜Д゜) ← I checked his level by looking at his outfit lol I forgot at what stage level it unlocks, but I'm using the Red Nose Clown. I tried fighting with Lucky Guy, After raising the weapon's ★Luck a few times (about 2-3 times), I thought I should just focus on increasing the coin acquisition speed? What do you think...
