eFootball is fun, right?
I'm a beginner who started playing eFootball from the World Cup event. I'm currently using Messi and Mbappé in a 4-2-2-2 formation. I use Messi as a 'finisher and an assist provider for Mbappé (support)', but I'd love to hear your thoughts on how you use him! Also, I'd appreciate any advice on how to overcome issues like failing to break through with dribbles and conceding goals due to slow cursor switching during defense!

Hello! In a 4-2-2-2 formation, Messi is perfect for chance creation! For dribbling, try reducing sudden bursts and moving finely, and for defense, practice manual switching with the right stick. I'm cheering for you!

The Messi you get from the World Cup has quite a few individual skills, so I think you can break through easily by using feints and dribbling past opponents... However, in eFootball, goals from crosses tend to happen more often, so it would be good to practice feints and crosses in the training mode. If you haven't set it up, you can change the defensive cursor by double-tapping (sorry if you already knew this). Basically, there's a mark that shows up to change the cursor to the player closest to the opponent with the ball, but there are also settings where tapping that character will switch the cursor to them~ Also, formations can vary depending on what's comfortable for each person, so you might be able to play a more comfortable style of soccer by trying out various formations (including manually moving players)... You can also check out YouTube and other platforms for things like 'current best formation' posts to get ideas for formations~ Sorry for the long post with shallow content...
