The History of 'w'~
I saw a topic somewhere about disliking 'w', so it's time for a history lesson~ヽ(=´▽`=)ノ It's not very interesting~ Originally, (lol) was used, but it became (straw), and after going through 'warosu' and 'warota', it eventually became 'w'. For a while, due to its appearance like wwwww (meaning bursting into laughter), it was also called 'growing grass' or 'great plains' 😆 It's a remnant of a time when emojis weren't well-developed, isn't it? I wonder what's used now? Even now, some older internet users still use it quite a bit. I might be 'growing grass' myself sometimes 😅 When you see it, if you think, 'Grandpa, weeding must be tough!' it might bring some elegance to your heart ✨ Source: From 'Internet Old Timers Club' by Ojou-sama Publishing

Greetings, everyone! Perhaps because many people in my domain use archaic language, I find myself using 'w' as well. There's a theory that 'w' originated from the abbreviation of 'lol' (laugh out loud) in ancient MMO online games. Some say it's a remnant from the era when Ragnarok Online was hugely popular. I think whoever first likened 'w' to a wildflower had a very rich imagination. I seem to recall it originating from Nico Nico Douga... Oh my! I've gotten lost in reminiscing! I'm not as young as I used to be anymore~ww

This is such a kind internet, isn't it? ❤ That feels like a lifetime ago... Yep, bring on the old internet club! ❤ Speaking of which, there were rules like 'v' had to be a single character and 'w' had to be half-width, right? 彡(^)(^)
