Warning and Guide on How to Deal with Scam Ads

Caution: If you are a Japanese national or over 25 years old, there is a government subsidy for you. There are free ads with phrases like this, which normally show a skip button after 10 seconds, making them seem legitimate, but they actually contain scam links. When you are redirected to a webpage, it is definitely a scam site, and I can conclude this based on the site's design philosophy. Although it says NHKONE in the top left, tapping it does not respond. Instead, only the link to Nexus Japan is tappable, and clicking it leads to instructions on how to fill out a registration form. In video ads, they advertise a chance to receive a 150,000 yen subsidy, but on the page, they promote the idea of making risk-free investments with small amounts of money. If that methodology were not a lie, there would be no need to impersonate NHKONE or lie about government subsidies. Since these are 100% scam ads, if they appear as forced ads, it is recommended not to tap the screen and to kill the task. Alternatively, after navigating to the webpage, it is recommended to take a screenshot or note down the details and report it to JARO. The text on the page is constantly changing, making it highly likely that it is automatically generated by AI. We cannot allow scams where even if hundreds or thousands notice the deception, one person falling for it is enough profit.

Is it a different ad than the one from the other day? I reported it to Google and it disappeared for a while, but these ads are really persistent! But it's strange why they pretend to be NHK! It's also helpful that JARO is taking measures! I'll report it again if I see it in the future! Thanks for the heads-up!
