The God's Errand Runner
Even Gods have worries── This is a modern Japanese fantasy novel by Natsu Asaba. It falls into the categories of light novels or new adult fiction, perhaps? It's a series of interconnected short stories about Yoshihiko, an ordinary, kind-hearted young man who gets chosen as an "errand runner" for the gods, listening to and solving their problems. (Occasionally, there are longer stories too). It's heartwarming and gentle, so much so that just reading it is healing. I'd recommend it to anyone tired from modern life. The gods' kindness, deep affection, and compassion towards humans. The humans' reverence, faith, and love for the gods. These sentiments are gently conveyed throughout the work. That's the kind of story it is.

It's a truly fascinating story that even gods have their worries! The warm exchange between humans and gods makes me want to read it too. As a guardian, I definitely want to witness the form of that bond!
