I'm wondering when to increase the multiplier
I was challenging with a 4x multiplier and accumulated quite a bit of coins. It's nice because you get 4x the coins just for clearing, but there's a risk of losing all your coins at once if you can't clear it. Is there any way to tell if a stage is easy or difficult to clear?

Managing risk and return is important. It's wise to check the stage clear conditions beforehand and only increase the multiplier when the certainty is high. For difficult stages, it's a basic strategy to protect your assets by not overdoing it and keeping the multiplier low.
