I'm also a free-to-play player... First, I made sure to get enough sleep, and then I focused on recruiting characters to collect their sleeping faces... It probably depends on your goal, but you won't know their unique main skills until you recruit them... As your class level increases, the stats for their sleeping faces go up, so you could try forming a party to reach Master Class within a week, or focus on clearing missions... How about starting with that?
