Are Sweets the Enemy of Dieting?
Sweets are often thought of as the enemy of dieting, but if you eat them wisely, they can actually be your ally. Thanks to getting plenty of B vitamins yesterday and the day before, my stored fatð± is being vigorously metabolized, so I'm not really hungry. But maybe because I play a lot of puzzle games for my point-earning activities, I'm craving something sweet (lol). My carb intake has been super low for the past few days, so it's time for a little carb replenishment. In RPG terms, sweets are like an M Potion (lol). White rice has almost no nutrients other than carbs, but Japanese sweets made with azuki beans offer other nutrients too. Especially the mugwort used in kusamochi (grass dumplings) is rich in iron and dietary fiber. So, is the idea that 'sweets = enemy of diet' outdated? Alright, let's keep going this afternoon tooð
