Paranoia Agent

Synopsis Sagami Tsukiko, who designed "Maromi," a popular mascot character that heals the weary modern society, harbored darkness within her heart. Then, people influenced by Tsukiko are successively attacked by the rampaging "Shonen Bat," plunging the townspeople into terror. However, despite numerous victims and many witnesses, Shonen Bat seemed nowhere close to being caught. It's a unique work right from the opening. It's not a particularly bright story; it has elements of psychological horror and depicts the depths of the human psyche, making it a somewhat dark piece.
