Spice and Wolf

It's a work from over 10 years ago, but I highly recommend it! An "Epoch Fantasy without Swords or Magic" Enjoy the journey of the traveling merchant Lawrence and Holo, the wolf deity of harvest, as they travel the world! It's a captivating story with witty banter and the intricate dance of human and financial relationships. Anime adaptations of novels tend to rush through the story, but this one is special. The quality of depicting two volumes of the novel across a 12-episode season is a major draw. It's quite rare for the time it takes to read the same story in the novel to match the time it takes to watch it in the anime! If you're curious, please look it up.
