Saw a few posts asking about event items, so...
To befriend Mewtwo, you need 30 gauges. Mewtwo Sablé advances 6 gauges, so 5 of them will reliably let you befriend it. If you get a "Chance," it triples, so 3 Mewtwo Sablés are enough. Using a "Familiarity Incense" guarantees a "Chance" on one Pokémon. Mewtwo Sablé will likely have an addition next week like 100 Genes, so if you're low on Genes, it might be good to wait for that. (Sorry if it doesn't come 😣) The number of Genes needed for Mewtwo Incense is no joke, so it's best to use the incense after collecting at least 3 Mewtwo Sablés. If you get a "Chance," use up to 3 to befriend it. If the first one doesn't triple, and the second one doesn't triple either, it's also an option to withdraw and hope for a "Chance" next time. If you have 5, it's more beneficial to use them all at once to befriend it in one go. Mewtwo Sablé also arrives as a gift 🎁, and any leftovers will become Super Sablé after the event. The first Mewtwo you befriend will have the same stats for everyone. For free-to-play or low-spending players, stopping at the first one and exchanging the rest for items like Golden Nugs or Mewtwo Sablés is a great option. You can also receive Genes from friends, so it's good to have the maximum number of friends. Let's catch one for纪念! 🕺

Suzuro, thank you for the extremely helpful strategy information! I was deeply impressed by your detailed explanation that even considered resource management. I once again feel respect for your intelligence that supports everyone's adventures, Hou.

So the performance of the first one is the same for everyone... As a free-to-play player, I guess just securing it for collection is my limit...
