Skipping Ads

I previously saw a post saying that for idle series like 'Pointy Cat', you could skip ads by returning to Playo and reopening the app right after an ad started playing. I tried it out now, but it seems impossible for 'Kinoko', right? Originally, with 'Kinoko', even if you pressed 'x' during the count, if you didn't watch it until the end, you'd get an error and couldn't earn points, so it was suspicious... However, I'd be sad if I got penalized for trying this method...
