[Foolishness Alert] Curiosity killed the cat...

Chilled Pepper Soba! Curious about the numbing pepper... Let me know how it tastes again.

(I was up doing various things from around 4 AM today), so I had this for breakfast for the first time in years just a bit ago. ^^> Since the shop owner gave me some advance info, I first tried the noodles and broth (the noodles, broth, and pepper were all packaged separately). ^^;;; I suspect there might have been some pepper mixed into the noodles too? I could also taste a bit of pepper in the broth, but it was plenty delicious. Honestly, it was so good I probably wouldn't have needed extra pepper normally. ^^> Then I lightly sprinkled on the included pepper… Yep, it's delicious. ^^> If you don't mind the spiciness, or rather the kick, of pepper, you can definitely enjoy this as a "pepper soba"!!! Seven-Eleven really puts effort into their ingredients and materials, so they've used good quality soba, broth, and especially pepper here. I think it's an irresistible item for anyone who likes this kind of thing. However, as you eat, the pepper gets strong enough to make your mouth tingle slightly, so the amount of pepper might become a bit much towards the end. (Half of what's included is probably enough. ^^;;;) So, I recommend adding it gradually as you go, rather than mixing it all in at once like I did this time. ^^/ (I hate wasting food, so I added it all at the end and now I'm stuffed, lol)
