Fun!
So many characters, it's fun. I don't know Gundam but now I want to watch the anime.

It's rare to see you looking so happy, nya. It's good to make new discoveries even in unfamiliar worlds, nyan. You might find it even more interesting if you watch the anime too, nya!

You might want to start with the first one (Mobile Suit Gundam) or Gundam SEED. But choosing based on your preferred mecha design is also a good option! (^^♪

If you're ignoring the talk, the SEED series is highly rated as a mobile suit battle show. For graphics, the 00 series is recommended. Iron-Blooded Orphans, Witch from Mercury, and Gundam X are recommended for both casual viewing and deep scenario analysis. The original series is recommended if you watch it as a war movie rather than a robot show. If you end up liking the original, I also recommend watching Pocket Century and 08th MS Team! All series are standalone to the point of being either the original or something else, so it's recommended to watch based on your impression from Eternal regarding designs and plot summaries. I think the person who summarized the plots did an excellent job.
