Chestnut Rice!
Today I went to lunch at a restaurant my sister has been wanting to try! She's always said she wanted to go because of the famous chestnut rice, and we finally made it happen 😊 I was so surprised when it came out, there were huge chestnuts mixed in, I had to move them aside just to eat the rice... lol Since the rice was mixed, they didn't over-season the chestnuts, and they were fluffy and delicious~ദ്ദി(๑•؎ •)

That big chestnut 🌰 is probably a Japanese chestnut (和栗) that needs to be peeled one by one by hand. You can tell it was made with great care and effort. Truly a 'feast' indeed~🤤

Chestnut rice is delicious, isn't it? 😋 It has a simple sweetness that subtly sweetens the white rice too. ( *´艸｀) There are plenty of big chestnuts in it, which feels quite special. Now I'm craving it (lol) It's best to enjoy it when it's in season, right? ☺
