The Phantom Thief Queen Likes the Circus

It was recently adapted into an anime. The author is amazing at plot twists, but what's truly incredible is their spirit of 'making readers gasp in surprise and feel happy!' That's why this work, without exception, has a happy ending. Although it's a story written many years ago, the model for the little girl's outfit in the illustrations undeniably reminds me of a certain country. Precisely because it's a country going through such difficult times now, it makes me wonder if it's a prophecy. Setting aside prophecies and such, I believe it's packed with things the author wants to convey to the intended audience, children. ...By the way. The author's protagonist, 'Queen.' The author themselves hasn't decided if Queen is male or female... I've been a fan for many years since elementary school, and I still don't know (lol). In the anime, Queen was voiced by Yuga Yamato, a former top star of Takarazuka. ...Seriously, which is it? An eternal mystery.
