Seeking Advice and Feedback!
This is an illustration I drew for my butler character's birthday. I wanted to make it feel softer and more dynamic, but somehow… I feel like it ended up looking static and unrealistic. I'd love to hear your thoughts and advice on how it looks!! I intended to capture the height difference between the butler and the master with an "looking up" angle, but does it come across that way?

Beren blushing while being fed cake is so wonderful ☺ I also felt the height difference between the master and Beren, and I thought it was drawn really well! I really admire your skill to be able to draw like this (*'▽'*)

Beren… you're amazing! I'm not good at drawing so I can't give much advice, but I really love the composition!

It's Beren! What a wonderful illustration! 🫶 It's cute, and I think the way you depicted the height difference with the owner is genius! 💕 Since you mentioned drawing it with an upward-angle perspective, I'd like to offer a small piece of advice 🙏 (just for your reference!) Basically, in an upward-angle shot, the ears are positioned below the eyes! In this illustration, Beren's face and such look more like a straight-on view with just the chin extended, rather than an upward-angle perspective. So, lowering the ear position, slightly directing the pupils downward, or angling the shoulders downward would make it a more natural upward-angle composition 🙆♂️
