Washing Machines! Top-loader vs. Front-loaderð

I've used both top-loading (vertical) and drum-style washing machines. Ultimately, I prefer the top-loading type! My household has gone through a cycle of top-loading -> drum-style -> top-loading. Apparently, drum-style machines tend to develop stains inside that are hard to remove, so when replacing our long-time drum machine, we opted for a top-loading one. While the drying power of top-loading machines is significantly weaker than drum-style (resulting in less drying capacity), they are simple and easy to use.

I've used both top-load and front-load (drum) washers, and I prefer top-load. Front-loaders break down easily and aren't cost-effective. So, top-load it is. However, if you have the space, a two-tub washer is better. That's because two-tub washers have the longest lifespan.
