Stray Cat Maru
Here comes Maru, the stray cat, asking for food! He started coming around here in early spring. At first, he was getting food from the lady on the first floor, but now there are food bowls placed in front of the entrances of about 5 houses, and he just eats wherever he pleases. Someone asked if I could take him in, but with a house full of cats – including a perpetually needy, spoiled, attention-seeking kitten and several adult cats – it's just not possible 😣 If only Maru were a kitten...

Maru-chan, you must be so happy being watched over by everyone in the neighborhood. Because Hii-chan already cherishes so many little ones, Maru-chan can also live with peace of mind. That kindness is surely being conveyed to Maru-chan too.

Looks like my pet, so cute 😊 Your neighbors are so kind. However, if they haven't been spayed/neutered, there's a concern about stray populations increasing. It's quite difficult to keep adult stray cats indoors. Many of them tend to want to go outside, after all. There's also the issue of compatibility with resident cats. I hope all stray cats can find happiness too.
