9/22 World Rhino Day

World Rhino Day (Proposed by the World Wildlife Fund in 2010 to advocate for the protection of the five species of rhinos living in the world: the black rhino, white rhino, Indian rhino, Javan rhino, and Sumatran rhino. Rhino horns are prized in China as traditional medicine and in the Middle East for dagger handles and crafts, trading at higher prices than cocaine, heroin, or gold. All five species are currently endangered.)
