Moon-viewing Delicacies
Since I'm staying up a bit late tonight, I'll be having ohagi I bought and Takaki Bakery's steamed egg bread. The steamed bread, with its rich egg flavor and chewy texture, looks just like a full moon, and it goes perfectly with green tea. Following that is the daikon radish from French oden at a shop called Akashi-ro (こうはく). Akashi-ro is delicious and reasonably priced, so I recommend it to any wine lovers visiting Osaka. Also, I had freshly baked Baumkuchen at the Club Harie buffet with a friend the other day, carne from Kyoto Shizuya bought on the way home, a hamburger that ended up being about 5cm thick when I made it, scoop omurice, steamed shrimp with chicken breast and broccoli, water yokan from a Mie prefecture Japanese confectionery shop, fried chicken and salmon sashimi fried to a crisp for a celebration, simmered chicken wings and daikon, and a fried fish cake with cheese. I've been going out a lot lately, so for a while, I want to make simple, light meals at home. As the seasons change, please take care of yourselves.

I always enjoy seeing so many pictures! At first, I thought it was mostly sweets, but as I looked further, more and more rice dishes appeared, and they all looked so delicious. I was captivated again today. The hamburger is huge, and the omelet rice is big too, plus the cat is adorable, it's all so wonderful ✨ Steamed shrimp and chicken breast look healthy. It's rare to have fried chicken, salmon, meat, and fish all at once, so I'm really envious. The simmered dish also looks flavorful and delicious, and I learned that there are even ways to arrange fish cakes (hanpen), which was educational. I hope to try making something like this someday, referencing these.

It looks so gorgeous!! I'm so jealous just looking at it. When celebrating, you just want to eat delicious food without worrying about nutrition, right? Nutrition is important, but maybe it's okay to have days like that sometimes. I sometimes cook, but it never looks this sparkly lol. When I make something myself, I'll post it on this board too. As a report.

I was really curious about the French Oden, ^^;;; I like bread, but I also like Japanese sweets, ^^/ But the thing that caught my eye the most was the neko drawn with ketchup, lol It suddenly got cold, so please take care of yourselves, mom
