Delicious Autumn Treats

I love autumn because there are so many delicious things to eat. It's nice and cool too. Today, I'll be enjoying a chestnut cake and lychee from Amshitei, both purchased from Harie the other day. I'm going to go with the lingering scent of summer and the taste of autumn's arrival. Also from Harie (or rather, Taneya!), there's the kanten matcha and mizuyokan, Awashimado's chestnut and sweet potato momiji, some luxurious sashimi, homemade braised pork, warm somen noodles with a bit of the pork as a late-night snack, sandwiches from Le Man in Takarazuka, an incredibly delicious yakiniku place in Shinsaibashi, and a bento box I made as a potluck item when going out with my partner's college friends for chestnut rice... Only a few months left in the year, let's spend the rest of it having fun and staying healthy. I think I'll read a borrowed book with some tea and cake on the side. The title is 'Urban Legend Dissection Center,' it sounds a little scary but I'm looking forward to it.

Moon-viewing Delicacies

Since I'm staying up a bit late tonight, I'll be having ohagi I bought and Takaki Bakery's steamed egg bread. The steamed bread, with its rich egg flavor and chewy texture, looks just like a full moon, and it goes perfectly with green tea. Following that is the daikon radish from French oden at a shop called Akashi-ro (こうはく). Akashi-ro is delicious and reasonably priced, so I recommend it to any wine lovers visiting Osaka. Also, I had freshly baked Baumkuchen at the Club Harie buffet with a friend the other day, carne from Kyoto Shizuya bought on the way home, a hamburger that ended up being about 5cm thick when I made it, scoop omurice, steamed shrimp with chicken breast and broccoli, water yokan from a Mie prefecture Japanese confectionery shop, fried chicken and salmon sashimi fried to a crisp for a celebration, simmered chicken wings and daikon, and a fried fish cake with cheese. I've been going out a lot lately, so for a while, I want to make simple, light meals at home. As the seasons change, please take care of yourselves.

First, all the delicious things so far

I want to leave behind here the things I've made and the delicious foods I've had at restaurants. First up are: pancakes I made, Minazuki bought at a Japanese confectionery shop, toast from Ashiya Musica Tea, a復刻 (reissued) anniversary cake from Salon de Thé Allion, baklava purchased at an event, French toast made with stone-baked bread from Takaki Bakery, unagi I had in Umeda, carbonara made at home, a one-plate lunch from Salon de Thé Allion, and toast with camembert and corned beef using stone-baked bread from Takaki Bakery with ingredients I had on hand. I would be delighted if I could share more delicious things with you all in the future, including past ones.
