Hello everyone, I always enjoy reading your posts. Today, I wanted to share my first attempt at something, so I came here. My first attempt is at making candied chestnuts, you see. First off, I absolutely love chestnuts! I always look forward to this time of year when chestnut sweets start appearing, but I'd never actually made candied chestnuts before. Up until now, I'd gratefully enjoyed the ones I received as gifts, but this year, a lot of chestnuts were harvested from my relative's garden, so I decided to take the plunge and try making candied chestnuts for the first time. To my surprise, they turned out quite well! I put them in jars and even took some back to my relative's house. Since it was my first time, I only made a small batch, but I have a feeling I'll get carried away and make them again! Sorry for rambling on, but I really wanted to tell someone. I'll leave it at that for now. See you all again, goodbye.
