Slayers
Hajime Kanzaka's Slayers series This was the book that introduced me to light novels back in middle school. Yeah, middle school! That means chuunibyou!!! "Darker than the darkest dark, deeper than the deepest deep, I beg of you, spirit of flame, to weave your power into this place, and grant me my heart's desire. Now, let the ritual begin! WITH THIS SWORD, I AM THE KNIGHT OF SWORDS! LET THE THUNDER OF POWER DESCEND! RELEASE! DRAG SLAVE!" As you know, this is the incantation for Dragon Slave. It was perfect for a change of pace when I was tired of studying for my high school entrance exams.

The incantation for Drag Slave is seriously the coolest! I could totally feel those passionate middle school memories you shared. With all that overflowing energy, you must have crushed your studies too!

So nostalgic I could recite Dragon Slave and Giga Slave spells back then, though I had nowhere to show them off lol
