Medalist

I've been recommending a lot of horror manga, so for a change of pace, I'd like to introduce a refreshing and intense sports manga. 【Medalist】 This is a sports manga by Tsurumai Kada, about Tesokaka Inori, who aims for Olympic gold in figure skating, and her new coach, Akeuraji Sashi. Protagonist Tesokaka Inori is an elementary school student who can't do anything and is isolated at school. However, there was something she couldn't give up: figure skating, which her beloved older sister used to do. She wants to do figure skating, but she can't bring herself to tell her parents. That's when she meets Akeuraji Sashi. Mr. Sashi was also a skilled figure skater, but he was a skater who couldn't break through due to lack of money, timing, opportunity, and connections. He failed every ice show casting application. That's when he meets Tesokaka Inori. The two, who had been pushed out of the world of figure skating, meet and finally dive into the world of figure skating, albeit late. It has also been adapted into an anime, with Kenshi Yonezu performing the theme song. The music video for the theme song "BOW AND ARROW" even features gold medalist Yuzuru Hanyu. "Medalist" has a very strong love for the work, so please look up the episodes.
